Company Info

We're different from most guide services. Our backcountry outings are private; meaning it's just your group and the guide. Group sizes range from 1-20 participants. Private tours mean small, intimate, quality experiences. Our young, energetic, quality-minded guides provide you with a personalized and unique service. Our guides are real people seeking real experiences.

All of our wilderness adventures are day trips (no overnights). With advance reservation we pick you up at your hotel or residence door, we match a trail to your group's ability level, and we provide you with all the gear you'll need. Once out on the trail, your Trail Wise guide will delight the group with interpretation of wildlife, animal tracks and signs, local geology, and plant communities. You may spy on birds, or possibily view wildlife.

At the halfway point on our trip, we find a scenic sunny spot, spread out a wool blanket, and enjoy a delicious trail side picnic. It's you, your friends and family, your friendly and knowledgeable backcountry guide, all relaxing and enjoying nature.

After a great day, refreshed and relaxed, we return you to your door.

Safety

All of our guides are certified in First Aid and CPR. Many or our trips are within range of a cell phone. Prevention is our key to an outstanding safety record. We know the terrain well, we learn of our client's abilities and physical condition; we know how to keepa comfortable pace... After all, it's your trip; we want it to be both safe and enjoyable for everyine in your group. No matter what your ability level, we have a fantastic trip for you.

We understand when you say you're from sea level. It's our job to listen, and to provide you with an experience that you will enjoy the most.
